Tim Coolen is a senior project professional and emergency health subject matter expert with over 25 years corporate executive and organizational strategic leadership experience. This includes both direct responsibility and corporate accountability for a variety of complex technology related projects and initiatives that supported the strategic direction of a large Canadian public safety and health services organization. His formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in Education (BEd) and Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in addition to a variety of professional management and leadership programs at Queen’s University and a Master’s certificate in Project Management at Saint Mary’s University.
Throughout his career, Tim has led, advised and directly facilitated a variety of strategic planning initiatives to support corporate, operational and community volunteer organizations. He has a solid track record in addressing and resolving complex corporate issues and enabling the success of an organization's strategic goals and objectives. Tim has excellent communications skills and thrives on working in a collaborative environment to further inspire and foster teamwork with a strong understanding of business requirements and an extensive consultative and professional services experience in the areas of pre-hospital patient delivery, strategic and project planning, healthcare information technology infrastructure planning, healthcare and emergency dispatch. He is committed to accountability, customer service and developing strong relationships both internally and externally that support an organization's strategic goals, objectives and vision.
